Class Categories
In the PTW Dance program, students will learn dance terminology and technique, while emphasizing the importance of spatial awareness and rhythm. Coordination, spatial awareness, phrasing, and stylistic versatility are introduced through dance techniques. Numbers and progressions emphasize proper placement, isolations, rhythmic dynamics, and flexibility are developed through warm-up, across-the-floor and movement phrase combinations.
Students are carefully placed in a class appropriate to their age, level, and experience. The PTW Dance program offers classes in Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Hip Hop, and Tap.
