Class Description
PTW’s Intermediate Tap Dance Classes focus on strengthening each student’s dance and music skills through improving rhythm tap technique and learning various styles of choreography. Our intermediate tap dance classes are taught to a wide range of musical styles, including Jazz, Broadway, African, Indian, and Brazilian, broadening students’ musical horizons and always making each combination new and different. Students in PTW’s intermediate tap dance classes learn and experience the fun and joy of tap dancing, all while learning professional styles to bring to the stage!
Our Tap Dance Faculty features some of the best tap dancers and tap teachers in all of NY and NJ. Teachers in our Tap Dance Faculty have performed tap dancing all over the world, studied and shared the stage with tap legends including Gregory Hines, Buster Brown, Jimmy Slide, Brenda Bufalino and Savion Glover.
“The talent of the teachers here is amazing. It’s an honor to work with them. They give such individual attention, it’s great.”
