Class Description
PTW’s Ballet/Modern Dance Classes For Tweens & Teens will develop the students knowledge of the basic dance positions of the feet, arms and body. It will build upon the foundation with the integration of more advanced steps and challenging combinations. The student will also be expected to learn accurate dance vocabulary. Exercises at the barre, in the centre and traveling across the floor will develop the student’s coordination, strength, flexibility, and alignment while exploring the artistry of dance through expression, musicality and phrasing. Ballet/Modern Dance Classes will also aid students in college auditions, school musical auditions, and professional auditions.
Students are carefully placed in a class appropriate to their age, level and experience.
