Class Description
Ballet and Modern Dance Classes for Children & Kids will help develop the student’s knowledge of the basic dance positions of the feet, arms and body. It will build upon the foundation with the integration of more advanced steps and challenging combinations. The student will also be expected to learn accurate dance vocabulary. Exercises at the barre, in the centre and traveling across the floor will develop the student’s coordination, strength, flexibility, and alignment while exploring the artistry of dance through expression, musicality and phrasing.
Students are carefully placed in a class appropriate to their age, level and experience. Our Ballet/Modern Classes help children develop basic body awareness skills that will help them in their physical development as well as in their dance training.
