Class Description
Advanced Tap Dance Classes focus on strengthening students technique, developing sound, tone, and virtuosity as well as learning challenging choreography. Studying various styles of tap dancing from Broadway to jazz and world tap, dancers are taught classic and contemporary repertoire which are part of the history and tradition of the art form, from the Nicholas Brothers to the Copasetics.
Our Tap Dance Faculty features some of the best tap dancers and tap teachers in all of NY and NJ. Teachers in our Tap Dance Faculty have performed tap dancing all over the world, studied and shared the stage with tap legends including Gregory Hines, Buster Brown, Jimmy Slide, Brenda Bufalino and Savion Glover.
“The talent of the teachers here is amazing. It’s an honor to work with them. They give such individual attention, it’s great.”
