Reviews from Brandon and Barbara

BRANDON's credits include appearances on "Sesame Street", commercials for "Kix" Cereal and "Sears", and seven episodes on Disney's new TV series, "Out of the Box". One of PTW's younger students, Brandon studies Acting, Voice, and Dance at PTW in the Junior Division.

"It's been a fun experience. It wasn't any work. The first time I was a little scared but the second time...having a lot of fun. PTW helped me not be afraid on stage. And PTW helped me to speak clearly and helped me on my auditions.

I did the Juniors. In that I did singing and dancing and acting. At the end of the year I did a show. I like the music at PTW!"

Barbara (Brandon's Mother)

"Brandon loves to sing...all the time. He sings in his sleep, he sings in school, he sings at home, he sings in the bathtub...all the time. And I guess I was just looking for a place for him to feel comfortable singing. We just took a chance. We didn't have any recommendations, we just took a chance. And he really, really liked it!

He loves music so this is just a great place for him to be where people appreciate it. They're really patient with the kids, and I know he felt really comfortable with the teachers and the kids. And he likes being with kids who enjoy to sing as much as he does.

If nothing else, it's given a lot of confidence to the kids. It just instills a sense of self-confidence. And if that is all that he got out of going to PTW, that would be great, because I think for a child to just feel comfortable with himself and to have a good feeling about themselves, and to not be afraid, is great. Brandon went through a really shy period and then all of a sudden he just came out of his shell. It was after he did PTW that he got his first national commercial. And then he got another commercial after that. Then he got this TV series for Disney.

I know that they take kids that are in the business, and they take kids that just want to do this for fun. What's nice about PTW is that you're doing what you love to do and you're with other kids who enjoy doing it also, and there's no pressure. No one is expecting anything from you except that you have a smile on your face and that you're having a good time. That's what makes it really nice.

We would love to welcome your child into the PTW theatre family and help them on their own creative journey.
